Besides the aggressive skills used for the Limit Break, Angelo also has a few key passive skills that can be used without player command throughout the battle. Primarily, Angelo is the Limit Break (or an attack that triggers when the character is low in health) and attacks using one of her four aggressive tricks. The reason why Angelo plays such a key part in the game, is because she aid's with Rinoa's skill set in battle. She was created to be an Australian Shepherd and is two years old when the game's storyline takes place. Angelo goes a bit outside of the norm when it comes to Final Fantasy creatures, as she resembles that of an actual dog breed. She is the main dog in the game and is the pet of Rinoa Heartilly, the female lead. As for Angelo however, this specific dog is seen much more than usual and plays a rather big part in his video game.Īngelo can be seen in Final Fantasy VIII. Luckily, there are quite a few really important dogs in the games themselves! These faithful sidekicks are usually there for just a quick moment, whether leading a character to some hidden treasure or acting as a plot developer in certain instances.
